  • We are happy to share a new way to help us build affordable housing in our community - the State Housing Tax Credit (SHTC). This program allows taxpayers to direct a portion of their Minnesota tax liability toward a qualified housing project of their choosing.

    Tom Kingston, Habitat Board member, has taken advantage of the program multiple years in a row. He was pleased with the ease and simplicity of making his contributions and receiving his Minnesota tax credits.

  • We are happy to share another way to help us build affordable housing in Western Otter Tail County - the Cars for Homes program.

    Donate a vehicle to Cars for Homes, Fergus Falls Area Habitat for Humanity’s car donation program, to help support local families.

    We accept cars, trucks, RV’s, vans, SUV’s, farm equipment, boats and motorcycles whether they are running or not.  Towing is free!
